Done over the weekend for the GMTK Game Jam 2020, I took on the role of art director, concept artist and texture artist for my team.
"A game about finding peace within when everything around you seems to be falling apart."

The theme was "Out of Control" so we came up with the idea of a game about mental health, where the player suffers from anxiety and learns how to overcome it through meditation. A simple but powerful idea, meant to give a glimpse to what it actually feels like - having no control over what happens outside of you and that feeling progressively building up in scary ways.

It has been a while since I joined a game jam and had a great time working in a team setting again, throwing ideas off each other and getting to know the challenges of other areas of game development.
